Joined by hundreds of climate and nature campaigners, we at Zero Hour kicked off the next big push to turn the Climate & Nature Bill into law.
Momentum is building. We already have the backing of nearly a third of all MPs, 387 councils, over 1,200 organisations, leading trade unions, metro mayors like Sadiq Khan and Andy Burnham, and more than 1,200 scientists. The government is starting to listen.
Just weeks ago, Energy Secretary Ed Miliband MP delivered the first ever Climate and Nature Statement, publicly thanking you – Zero Hour campaigners – and committing to work with us to advance the Bill’s aims.
Now, we need to turn that recognition into real results. That means making sure every MP in every constituency feels the pressure – and takes our demands straight to the Government.
