Secure Your Future
The climate and nature crisis is already hitting communities across the UK — driving flooding, crop failure, wildfires and rising bills, while continued dependence on fossil fuels leaves us dangerously exposed. It isn’t just the injustice that this is happening at all, and that the most marginalised are suffering the most, it’s also the injustice that our nations are nowhere near as prepared as they could and should be. The UK may be woefully underprepared for what lies ahead but the solutions already exist, and the power is in our hands - you can secure your future.
Our Campaign
Our Secure Your Future campaign is built around three core objectives: Restore nature; End oil + gas; Protect communities.
Restore Nature
An enemy many don’t realise is threatening our safety in the UK. This isn’t the danger of bombs, bullets, or hackers - but the threat posed by the breakdown of nature, leaving communities more exposed than ever. Without urgent action to restore the UK’s ecosystems we risk empty supermarket shelves, flooded homes, and an NHS pushed beyond breaking point. This is why we are calling for a new Nature + National Security Bill to secure your future. A law to deliver national resilience by viewing nature as critical infrastructure; and giving us affordable food, safer homes, and stronger health.
End Oil + Gas
Global conflict is driving up oil and gas prices, disrupting supply and exposing the UK’s energy insecurity. Meanwhile, the Government faces growing pressure from bad faith actors to expand North Sea oil and gas through projects like Rosebank, Jackdaw and Cambo - decisions that would be disastrous for people and planet. We're mobilising to challenge the misinformation around “homegrown” fossil fuels and show the Government there is public support for a different path: real energy security through clean, renewable power.
Protect Communities
The Government acts when it’s pushed to by the people it represents. Climate and nature breakdown is accelerating, and the UK remains one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world, putting our food, homes and health at risk - yet the Government still isn’t doing enough to protect communities. We’re supporting people in communities to host local screenings of the People’s Emergency Briefing, helping them to engage their MPs directly to turn up the pressure on the Government. We’ll also work to make the link between climate, nature and national security impossible to ignore in the media.
