- Introduction by Caroline Lucas and Hywel Williams
- A short presentation by report co-author Simon Oldridge of Zero Hour and world-leading scientists Dr Nathalie Pettorelli of ZSL and Dr Paul Behrens of Leiden University.
- The main focus will be a Q&A session, aiming to ensure Parliamentarians are fully briefed on the critical relationship between climate and nature, and understand exactly where the UK’s ambition falls short.
- MPs and Lords can collect their copy of the report.
This landmark report, peer-reviewed by leading scientists, explains in jargon-free terms why the UK’s Net Zero Strategy (NZS) is not bold enough to limit global warming to 1.5°C. The Climate Change Committee is doing a great job highlighting the Delivery Gap, but we need to talk about the Ambition Gap whilst there’s still time to do something about it.
